Scholarships & Education

Through the dedication and collaborative spirit of the Biloxi Chamber, along with the unwavering support of our business partners, we are able to invest in the future of our community by providing scholarships to deserving students. These scholarships, awarded at the Excellence in Education Awards, serve as a testament to our commitment to empowering the next generation. Together, we are opening doors to new opportunities, fueling dreams, and shaping bright futures—one student at a time.

The Biloxi Chamber of Commerce deeply values the dedication, passion, and impact of our educators. Teachers shape the future, guiding and inspiring students with unwavering commitment. To honor their hard work, the Biloxi Chamber proudly hosts Teacher Appreciation After Hours, a special event dedicated to celebrating all teachers in the City of Biloxi. This gathering is a heartfelt expression of gratitude, recognizing the sacrifices and tireless efforts of those who educate, mentor, and uplift our children every day. It’s our way of saying thank you for the difference they make in our community.

Junior Leadership Biloxi offers an exclusive opportunity for 9th-grade students in the City of Biloxi to step beyond the classroom and into a world of leadership, growth, and discovery. Through immersive sessions on etiquette and manners, cultural diversity, medical and government insights, military exposure, and essential skills for success, participants gain firsthand experience that shapes them into future leaders. This dynamic program not only educates but also inspires, empowering students with the confidence and knowledge to excel in their personal and professional journeys.
